Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 22.25 points to 1,730.74.
Volume was 2.2 billion lots worth RM2.5 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 578 to 334.
