Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.26 point to 1,695.88.

Volume was 1.6 billion lots worth RM1.1 billion.

Losers far outnumbered gainers 597 to 236.
