Malaysia shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher  on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.25 points to 1,692.22.

Volume was 305 million lots worth RM212 million.

Gainers beat losers 486 to 369.
