Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.80 points to 1,682.23.
Volume was 2.2 billion lots worth RM3 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 476 to 336.
