Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

[KUALA LUMPUR] Malaysia share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.40 points to 1,609.73. Volume was 3.105 billion lots worth RM2.153 billion. Gainers outnumbered losers 422 to 411.
