Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 83.56 points to 1,303.28.

Volume was 5.021 billion lots worth RM4.029 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 895 to 145.
