Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 16.37 points to 1,552.65.

Volume was 6.723 billion lots worth RM3.813 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 667 to 355.
