Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 16.6 points to 1,870.52.

Volume was three billion lots worth RM2.5 billion.

Losers outstripped gainers 623 to 370.
