Malaysia: shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 21.49 points to 1,868.00. Volume was 5.9 billion lots worth RM6.1 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers by 895 to 412.
