Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 13.54 points to 1,683.82.

Volume was 1.3 billion lots worth RM875 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 428 to 332.
