Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.27 points to 1,518.11.

Volume was 9.494 billion lots worth RM5.431 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 722 to 387.
