Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.73 points to 1,643.90.

Volume was 8.71 billion lots worth RM3.903 billion (S$1.28 billion). Gainers outnumbered losers 701 to 549.
