Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.37 points to 1,369.76.

Volume was 4.693 billion lots worth RM2.246 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 634 to 252.
