Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 16.99 points to 1,452.11.

Volume was 6.732 billion lots worth RM4.392 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 545 to 425.
