Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 21.85 points to 1,536.28.
Volume was 5.905 billion lots worth RM4.027 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 701 to 334.
