Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 19.78 points to 1,576.42.

Volume was 11.666 billion lots worth RM4.971 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 607 to 491.
