Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.40 points to 1,498.80.

Volume was 6.730 billion lots worth RM4.601 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 613 to 461.
