Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.54 points to 1,862.45.

Volume was 2.035 billion lots worth RM1.937 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 463 to 433.
