Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.400 points to 1,668.720.

Volume was 1.561 billion lots worth RM1.885 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 440 to 324.
