Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.23 points to 1,682.87.
Volume was 2.4 billion lots worth RM1.7 billion.
Losers were evenly matched with gainers at 402 to 401.
