Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.96 points to 1,389.55.

Volume was 5.762 billion lots worth RM2.699 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 774 to 162.
