Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 13.81 points to 1,423.97.

Volume was 9.415 billion lots worth RM4.612 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 554 to 500.
