Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 50.75 points to 1,575.07.

Volume was 12.312 billion lots worth RM8.446 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 747 to 609.
