Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 10.49 points to 1,610.15.

Volume was 16.395 billion lots worth RM7.957 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 655 to 648.
