Malaysia: Shares close higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.670 points to 1,662.920.
Volume was 1.626 billion lots worth RM2.156 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 477 to 288.
