Malaysia: Shares close higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 11.31 points to 1,489.95.

Volume was three billion lots worth RM2.4 billion.

Losers narrowly outnumbered gainers 481 to 413.
