Malaysia: Shares close higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.10 points to 1,380.30.

Volume was 4.826 billion lots worth RM2.465 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 629 to 249.
