Malaysia: Shares close higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 17.20 points to 1,397.13.

Volume was 9.544 billion lots worth RM5.071 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 558 to 395.
