Malaysia: Shares close higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 24.65 points to 1,636.69.
Volume was 7.123 billion lots worth RM5.105 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 950 to 308.
