Malaysia: shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.04 points to 1,717.23.
Volume was 1.83 billion shares worth RM2.52 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers by 521 to 344.
