Malaysia shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.49 points to 1,793.15.

Volume was 21 million lots worth RM2.6 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 434 to 395.
