Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.63 points to 1,572.81.

Volume was 1.588 billion lots.

Losers narrowly outnumbered gainers 378 to 337.
