Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 11.23 points to 1,546.02.

Volume was 8.032 billion lots worth RM4.771 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 803 to 283.
