Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.130 points to 1,698.350.

Volume was 3.015 billion lots worth RM2.559 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 530 to 358.
