Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.06 point to 1,488.14.

Volume was 4.729 billion lots worth RM2.384 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 590 to 330.
