MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 10.43 points to 1,578.14.
Volume was 26.6 billion lots worth RM9 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 794 to 435.
