Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.52 points to 1,607.59.

Volume was 10.359 billion lots worth RM5.479 billion.

Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 621 to 604.
