Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 31.19 points to 1,376.59.

Volume was 5.455 billion lots worth RM2.468 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 599 to 284.
