Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 47.19 points to 1,498.83.
Volume was 9.067 billion lots worth RM5.318 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 1,107 to 159.
