Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 31.14 points to 1,572.61.

Volume was 13.129 billion lots worth RM8.241 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 707 to 505.
