Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.48 points to 1,571.66.

Volume was 19.6 billion lots worth RM7.5 billion.

Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 617 to 538.
