Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 24.64 points to 1,602.57.

Volume was 7.400 billion lots worth RM5.876 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 934 to 360.
