Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 15.94 points to 1,617.25.

Volume was 6.625 billion lots worth RM5.561 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 650 to 490.
