Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.21 points to 1,612.04.

Volume was 8.408 billion lots worth RM5.764 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 732 to 502.
