Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 20.12 points to 1,576.62.

Volume was 7.485 billion lots worth RM5.166 billion.

Losers far outnumbered gainers 1,119 to 231.
