Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.79 points at 1,761.78 points.
Volume was 1.62 billion lots worth RM3.02 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 372 to 361.
