Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 15.02 points to 1,618.53.
Volume was 2.1 billion lots worth RM2 billion.
Losers far outnumbered gainers 610 to 246.
