MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.57 points to 1,687.48.
Volume was 2.8 billion lots worth RM1.8 billion.
Gainers beat losers 466 to 348.
