Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 24.4 points to 1,419.43.

Volume was 3.8 billion lots worth RM3.1 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 923 to 167.
