Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.67 points 1,603.75.

Volume was 11.917 billion lots worth RM6.157 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 688 to 390.
